1. What is included?

2. What should I bring?

-Food and snacks, beverages

-Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and a long sleeve shirt

-Windbreaker during the months of Nov-May for cool mornings

-US dollars or Mexican pesos for payment of charter and tipping (15% is customary)

3. Do I need a fishing license?

-Yes, all passengers over the age of 12 are required to have a Mexican fishing license.  Fishing licenses can be purchased at the marina the morning of your fishing trip.  Cost per license is approximately $20.00 USD.

4. What time do I need to be at the marina?

-Check-in time is normally at 6:30am.  Later departures can be made upon request.

5. Where do we meet for our fishing trip?

-There are 2 marinas in the Los Cabos area. Puerto Los Cabos is located in San Jose Del Cabo. The IGY Marina is located in downtown Cabo San Lucas.  We represent boats in both marinas. We will give you clear directions at the time of booking.

6. What is the deposit required to book a fishing trip?

-A $100 deposit is required to secure your trip.  This can only be paid in cash or through Apple Pay, Zelle, or PayPal. 

 

7. What is your cancellation policy?

-The $100.00 deposit is refundable with 24 hr minimum cancellation notice.

-If trip is cancelled due to inclement weather, your money will be refunded in full.  

- If you do not show up the morning of your trip, the deposit will be kept. 
 

8. When do I pay the balance?

-The balance can be paid anytime in advance or on the day of your trip.  

 

9. What forms of payment are acceptable?

-Payment can be made in cash using US dollars or Mexican pesos.  (If paying in pesos, the exchange rate applied will be the rate on the day of trip). 

-Payment can also be made through, Apple Pay, Zelle, or PayPal.

10. Can I bring my own fishing gear?

-You are welcome to bring your own fishing gear or lucky lure.  We do not assume any responsibility for your gear.

11. Can I keep the fish we catch?

-Yes, however we do adhere to the fishing license rules and regulations.

-Third party fish cleaning and fillet services are also available at the docks.  Cost will depend on the amount of fish to be cleaned. 

-Our crew can also give you great recommendations of restaurants that will cook your fish to perfection!

12. Can we bring fish back home with us on the plane?

-Most airline carriers will allow you to take fish on the plane as long as you use a hard plastic cooler.

-The fish should be completely frozen as you cannot travel with ice. Many of our clients use gel packs.

-You must declare your fish and it will be treated as a regular piece of  luggage. Be sure to bring packing tape with you to the airport. You will need to use the tape to secure the lid.

-Styrofoam coolers do NOT qualify as luggage and in most cases will not be allowed on the plane. 

-If you have any doubts, please check with your airline carrier.
